SME and leadership teams (8-30)
For SME and leadership groups planning 8-30 participants, guided events work across all challenges. Typical private minimums are National 8+, Welsh 8+, and Yorkshire around 30+.
Your options
At this size, guided dates are available on any challenge. Private dates are usually National or Welsh; Yorkshire private generally starts around 30.
National Three Peaks
Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, Snowdon. Drive times between peaks are 4-5 hours each, with the event running around 24 hours including walking.
For smaller teams, transitions are usually faster than large-group events. See the private National event for details.
Welsh Three Peaks
Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan. Drive times between peaks are 1-2 hours rather than 5+ on National. It fits a weekend: travel Friday, walk Saturday, home Sunday.
See the private Welsh event for details.
Guided date vs private date
Use this rule: if you want small-group flexibility, pick a guided date; if you need your own date and briefing structure, pick private.
Private minimums remain National 8+, Welsh 8+, and Yorkshire around 30+.
Timeline
Book 10-12 weeks ahead and share the training plan in the same week.
- Week 10-12: book, then share the training plan and kit list.
- Week 6: confirm training progress and unresolved kit gaps.
- Week 2: reduce training load and lock logistics.
Fundraising
A team of 15 raising £200 each reaches £3,000. Add matched giving and that can double.
