Typical work
- Group leadership and pace management on mountain terrain.
- Route, weather, and safety decision-making.
- Briefings, checkpoint coordination, and incident response.
- Working closely with drivers and event control.
Useful qualifications
- Mountain Leader (ML) Summer and/or Winter.
- First Person On Scene (FPOS) first aid.
- Mountaineering Instructor Certificate (MIC).
- Mountaineering Instructor Award (MIA).
